The Kelso Police Department has confirmed that the bicyclist hit by a school bus yesterday morning near the Red Lion Hotel was a juvenile.
First responders were dispatched at 7:31 a.m. to the intersection of Tam O’Shanter Way and Manasco Drive, near South Kelso Drive.
The juvenile was found on the ground but conscious and was transported by ambulance from the scene. Their current condition is not known.
Kelso Police Captain Mark Burgland stated that the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and due to the involvement of a juvenile, details are limited.
