The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian was killed Tuesday evening near WSU Vancouver.
At around 9:38 p.m., first responders were dispatched to an intersection. Upon arrival, they found a pedestrian lying face down in the roadway. The individual was breathing and was rushed to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center but later died from their injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved, a Toyota Tundra, was the 911 caller. They remained on the scene, and deputies say they showed no signs of impairment.
The identities of the driver and the victim have not been released.
