Expect delays while traveling through I-5 in the Woodland area again this week due to single-lane closures for safety improvements.

During the work, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair damage to a cable barrier. Crews will also be clearing a nearby drainage system and picking up trash and debris.

Today, work begins with the closure of the left lane of southbound I-5 near Dike Access Road, between mileposts 18.7 and 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tomorrow, work will continue with a left lane closure from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. between mileposts 21.5 and 20 of southbound I-5. Then on Thursday, work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a left lane closure in the northbound direction between mileposts 21.5 and 20.5.
