A Woodland man has been found guilty after he reportedly freaked out at another man and then threatened an officer while in custody.
The Cowlitz County Prosecutor’s Office says a jury convicted 42-year-old Bryan Olinger of Felony Harassment of a Criminal Justice Participant and Misdemeanor Harassment.
Back in October of last year, Olinger reportedly was standing in the street, yelling obscenities at a neighbor. The victim, who was just a bystander watching what was happening, reportedly told him to calm down. This led Olinger to spit at his vehicle, then charge at it multiple times, punching the window and threatening him.
When the Woodland Police Department responded, Olinger was placed under arrest, and officers noted that he showed signs of intoxication. While being transported to jail, he made numerous threats toward the officer, telling him he would find him and his family and kill him.
