You may have noticed some recent activity at the old Los Pepes building in Longview.

Following the closure of the Mexican eatery at the end of May, a new restaurant has been in the works. It’s called “Canela Brunch Co.” The brunch and cocktails restaurant is scheduled to open this fall.

The owners have been posting project updates on their Facebook page, saying opening a restaurant has been “their dream.”
