You may have noticed that your paper hasn’t been arriving in the mail. The local paper reports that its service has been disrupted due to cybersecurity issues.The Daily News states that a ‘cybersecurity event’ has affected many of the systems and networks at Lee Enterprises, the parent company of The Daily News and several other newspapers.

Lee Enterprises CEO Kevin Mowbray stated in an email to employees last week, ‘We are now focused on determining what information — if any — may have been affected by the situation.’

Mowbray did not provide further details on what exactly a ‘cybersecurity event’ entails but confirmed that the situation is under investigation. The paper’s services were first disrupted last Monday. E-editions from last week are available on TDN.com. TDN expects to resume printing starting today
