Justin Brown Named as New Longview Parks & Recreation Director—Klog 100.7 News

The park named after the founder of the City of Longview has been renamed, but don’t worry—his name is still included. The Longview City Council voted last week to slightly change the name of R.A. Long Park; it is now R.A. Long Memorial Park.
This change comes 11 years after it was initially authorized. Back in the summer of 2014, an ordinance was finalized, but somehow it was never brought back to the council for a vote.
