The Longview Emergency Support Shelter has a new executive director, Shira Lile.
The Daily News reports that the board of directors announced Lile would immediately replace Sarah Handcock, who stepped down from the position in November. Since then, Lile has been serving part-time as the interim director.
Lile has lived in the area for over a decade and is the founder of Hello Life, a nonprofit that provides support to individuals with eating disorders.
