Audrea LaDean Woelk: August 23, 1947 — July 28, 2026
LONGVIEW- Audrea LaDean Woelk, lovingly known as Deanie, passed away on July 28, 2026, in Longview, Washington, at the age of 78. She was born on August 23, 1947, in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Deanie will be remembered as a woman of deep love, faith, generosity, and remarkable talent. She loved her family and God, and those who knew her saw that love expressed in the way she lived each day. She would help anyone and always did, offering kindness and care wherever it was needed. Creative and gifted, she was a fantastic artist who could draw anything she saw, and she also had a special talent for woodworking.
She found joy in simple pleasures and in time shared with the people she loved most. Deanie enjoyed car rides to the beach and trips to the casino for fun. She loved playing slot machines. Some of Deanie’s happiest memories of her life were made with the whole family gathered together for holidays and card games (she was and expert!), times filled with laughter, companionship, and the warmth she brought to every home and gathering.
Among the blessings of her life, Deanie was especially proud of her son and granddaughters, Todd, Kendyl, and Kelsey, and she also dearly loved her home. Her family was at the center of her heart, and she took great joy in the life they shared together.
She would help anyone and always did, offering kindness and care wherever it was needed.
She is survived by her son, Todd Woelk; her granddaughters, Kendyl Woelk and Kelsey Woelk; and her sisters, Marilyn Allen and Sheryl Sinn. Each of them carries forward memories of her love, her strength, her creativity, and the steady care she gave so freely.
Deanie’s husband, Bennie Woelk, preceded her in death.
A tender comfort in her final chapter was the presence of her granddaughter, Kendyl, who was with her when she passed away. As a nurse, Kendyl provided care, cleaning, and companionship to her grandmother during the final months of Deanie’s life, surrounding her with devotion and love.
Deanie’s life was marked by faith, family, hospitality, and a generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, treasured family traditions, and memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
