The 18-year-old woman killed off of I-5 near Ostrander late Monday night has been identified as Breauna Vaughn of Eagle Creek.

Vaughn was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed northbound when she left the roadway for an unknown reason at milepost 44. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was declared dead at the scene.

Vaughn previously made headlines in January 2024 when she was still a juvenile and went missing for several days. She had reportedly left her home without her phone, money, coat, or medication. She was found safe four days later, though the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office did not elaborate on why she had gone missing.
