Man Found Dead in Ariel in November Believed to Have Been Killed in Woodland—Klog 100.7 News
February 11, 2025Yacolt officials are warning people about spiked wooden blocks, marked with the word “Kent” and swastikas, found on several roads last week.
A statement on the town’s website reads, “USE CAUTION and keep your eyes open so no one gets hurt or any damage is caused.”
So far, the spikes have been found on at least three different roads. The blocks didn’t include a full name but likely refer to Joe Kent, a Yacolt Republican who ran two unsuccessful campaigns to represent the 3rd Congressional District, once back in November and once in 2022. Since then, President Donald Trump nominated Kent to become director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
Yacolt Mayor Ian Shealy said that if residents find any more wooden blocks, they should report them to town hall. He also asked residents with security cameras to check them and notify the sheriff’s office if they see anything suspicious from last week.
