A woman has been convicted after allegedly taking her ex-husband’s vehicle two years after they divorced.

The Cowlitz County Prosecutor’s Office says a Cowlitz County Superior Court jury convicted Aro Roberts of 2nd Degree Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission late last month.

During the trial, the jury heard evidence that Roberts had seen the vehicle in Longview in May of 2025 and took it by having it towed to her residence without her ex-husband’s permission. Their divorce in 2023 had awarded the vehicle to her ex-husband.
