A man who threatened to sexually assault a woman and was later caught looking through a window at her business has been found guilty of felony stalking with sexual motivation.
The Cowlitz County Prosecutor’s Office says a jury found 37-year-old Ryan Brown of Kelso guilty Wednesday following a two-day trial in Cowlitz County Superior Court.
Prosecutors say Brown sent anonymous, sexually explicit voicemails and text messages to the victim between June 5th and 10th, including threats to assault her when her boyfriend was not around.
Just after midnight on June 12th, Brown was seen looking through a window at the victim’s business. Longview Police confirmed the phone he had with him was used to send the anonymous messages and took him into custody.
