Healthcare workers returned to work Monday at Kaiser Permanente facilities after a weeklong strike.
About 4,000 members of the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals picketed outside six Kaiser locations across Southwest Washington and Oregon, including Longview. Kaiser said frontline teams maintained patient care during the strike.
Bargaining is expected to resume later this week. The company said its latest proposal includes a 21.5% total base wage increase over four years.
