Three people were injured after a stabbing occurred Saturday night at a rock quarry in Goble.

Two of the victims had to be life-flighted to the hospital, and the third was taken by ambulance.

Staff at the Historic Goble Tavern say a woman arrived around 8:15 p.m. Saturday asking for help. Just behind her was a man who had also been stabbed. Staff were told the two were husband and wife and called emergency services.

The stabbing happened at the nearby Goble rock quarry. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says there is no danger to the community, and more information is expected after a Major Crimes Team meeting today.

The Goble Tavern posted on social media to clarify that the stabbings did not take place at the bar; rather, it served as a point of emergency contact.
