A Longview resident was injured on Friday after getting into a crash on Ocean Beach Highway in west Longview.
The Washington State Patrol says that a 2009 Toyota SUV driven by 51-year-old Michelle Lewis had been going northbound on 48th Avenue at the intersection with Ocean Beach around 12:30 p.m. Lewis failed to stop at a stop sign, causing her to hit a 2009 Toyota Sienna going eastbound on Ocean Beach, driven by 60-year-old Lana Bonds. The Sienna then also struck a parked utility vehicle.
Bonds was injured in the collision; she was taken by ambulance to St. John Medical Center. Lewis and a passenger of Bonds were not injured. Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts. Lewis has been cited for not stopping at a stop sign.
