The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office says its Crime Reduction Team has been busy in recent weeks, getting dangerous drugs and firearms off the streets.
The investigations have led to the arrest and booking of five individuals.
They include 46-year-old David Peckham of Kelso, 51-year-old Timothy Johnson of Castle Rock, 50-year-old Jeffrey Frostad of Longview, 36-year-old Devin Papka of Longview, and 21-year-old Ely Silva of Portland.
The sheriff’s office says the investigations resulted in the seizure of 3.8 pounds of methamphetamine, more than a pound of fentanyl, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, 11 firearms, and more than $17,000 in suspected drug money.
Some of the charges include allegations of possessing drugs with intent to deliver, delivering fentanyl in a school zone, and unlawful firearm possession.
